I tried to post a link to a forum thread that had full DVDs of a couple of these and plenty of other DVDs of interest, but the post just vanished, caught in a spam filter I guess.

BBN, if I may ask, did you have the full Video Magazines uploaded anywhere? Though it's only Volume 9 I'm actually missing. I've managed to find the others elsewhere.
Tried to look for it again today with no luck, but I came across something else you may find interesting. Speaking of guides, I found a Washington state newspaper called Ellensburg Daily Record archived on Google. It had first Escapade and then The Playboy Channel in its TV guide between January 1982 and August 1986. I bought FileFactory premium to try the internal file search there, but I can't find Playboy Video Magazine Volume 9 there either. Did this one never get shared in its entirety or what?
Well, the VHS tape does seem to be sold on Amazon. Problem is, I don't have a VCR. And I'm in Europe, which complicates things. I assume I'd need a US VCR in order to play the tape correctly, given the different TV standards.
Then I'd probably need some kind of converter or transformer to get that VCR to work in the EU power grid, and a video capture device compatible with the NTSC signal.
That seems like a bit too much of a hassle, and probably fairly expensive as well.
No. I got lifetime memberships for Playboy Plus and the magazine archive last year when they had a Black Friday offer of the archive and either Plus or TV for life for 100$. I've been contemplating getting PB TV as well. Maybe I will if they keep adding more older material to the site.

Well, BBN, here is a new twist. I had the bright idea to look at the PB+ videos for Lisa, and the two short clips they have must be segments from her original PMOM profile. Similarly, the two videos they have for Corinna are the first two segments in what was her PMOM profile. So if you want that nice first segment from Corinna's video without the annoying music, you can grab it there.
Unfortunately, if even you don't have the full original profiles, they are probably gone for good!
Man I hate it to my very core to have to announce this fellas, but we lost an all time great Playmate yesterday. Miss March 1981, Kymberly Herrin passed on. She was in my top ten all time favorite Playmates, and I've cherished each and every video I've ever discovered of hers. She was truly one of a kind beauty. RIP Kym.
Damn........June passed away too? She had to of been in her 90's at least! She led a good life though as far as I know. She was married to Ricky Nelson, and was on his family's show, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, a bunch of times. She sure was a looker! RIP Junie. :-(

Well, I got a premium subscription, and found all of them except Vol 4 and 9 now! If you're feeling charitable, I'd definitely appreciate an upload. I'll rip that Jenny DVD for you and also upload that Elke Jeinsen pantyhose vid I mentioned a while ago.
Welp........got good news and bad news.......first......the bad news. I went COMPLETELY through 13 external hard drives and didn't find even one single PBVM. I've sold off all of my VHS tapes now.......except for a few off the wall ones that no one has wanted ......yet anyways lol.
The good news is that I still have all of my Laserdiscs......unfortunately PBVMs were only released to LDs on the first 6 of them. My transfer device was sold too, and it's been a few years since I stuck anything in my old Laserdisc player.........so not even sure if I should just sell all of those LDs at this point now. So sorry Dham.
Well I have some bad news here. Both VCRs I "borrowed"from my parents' house are not working. So I guess I need to drop $200 more on an ebay VCR and hope for the best. You don't happen to offer ripping services, do ya? :)

Looks like the Playboy TV website just added Playmate Reviews for 2001, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

ReplyDeleteFor instance, https://classic3x.com/page/6/?s=playboy+dvd , first link is America's Sexiest Bartenders, with Kara Monaco as host. The links are a bit spotty in the first couple of pages, but most seem to be intact.
Just go to classic3x and search for Playboy DVD
Also a lot of the DVDs are Russian, but they have English subtitles, and it's just a collection of links to legit file sites.

DeleteAlso, I have only managed to locate copies of the old Video Magazine s1,5, and 12. I think you mentioned at some point you have them on FF somewhere, but I'll be darned if I can find them. I tried using https://filesearch.link/filefactory/ and "Video Magazine" but nothing popped up. Am I doing this wrong, or do I need to subscribe to see them?

ReplyDeleteI went COMPLETELY through 13 external hard drives and didn't find
even one single PBVM. I've sold off all of my VHS tapes now.......except
for a few off the wall ones that no one has wanted ......yet anyways lol.
The good news is that I still have all of my Laserdiscs......unfortunately
PBVMs were only released to LDs on the first 6 of them. My transfer
device was sold too, and it's been a few years since I stuck anything in
my old Laserdisc player.........so not even sure if I should just sell all
of those LDs at this point now. So sorry Dham.
Uh oh! I think we're out of luck then unless you can find a way to transfer #4 from the old LD. Thanks for checking!
