put out fliers, post ads in magazines and newspapers, etc. etc.... and THOUSANDS of
beeeeeeutiful young women would come running. All for just having even a chance of
becoming a Playboy Anniversary Playmate! Playboy began the "Anniversary Playmate",
in 1964, beginning with a little gal from Seattle named Sharon Rogers, who became the
10th Anniversary Playmate. She was followed by the 20th Anniversary Playmate.....
Nancy Cameron (she of the infamous front and back centerfold. One of 'ol Bob's favs!)
But.....back in those days, there wasn't the "Great Playmate Hunt/Search". As with every
Playmate before and after.....Hef chose them individually. That was until the year 1978, the
year before Playboy's 25th anniversary, when all this grandeur began. It was said, be it true
or not.....that Playboy took over 1,000,000 photos of the thousands of girls that came to be
seen. Quite believable really, considering the thousands of photos that each Playmate has
taken before the select few are chosen to be in the magazine. At any rate.....after the 25th
anniversary celebration was such a success in choosing the ever gorgeous Candy Loving,
and the search brought in enough girls to use as Playmates of the Month for years on end,
the 30th, 35th, 40th, and 50th Anniversaries did the same, with the same results. For some
reason unknown to yours truly, the 45th Anniversary Playmate, the beautiful blonde cowgirl
Jaime Bergman, was chosen on her own merits without a big Hunt/Search. Pretty good job
of choosing I'd say don't you? Enjoy fellas.......these videos are history in the making!
